KIRKUS REVIEW

A beautifully designed book about things to make both useful and ornamental, of wood, clay, plaster, metal, glass, paper, soap, etc. Directions and drawings are gives for about sixty things, from a bamboo flute or a hot dish tile to a papier-machs or a telegraph set. The first chapter is devoted to tools and materials. Both sketches and drawings are clear and readable -- a good job.
