HOW TO OOZE

By

Pub Date: Sept. 7th, 1961
Publisher: Abelard-Schuman

Heightening the humor by his ""serious"" approach, the author scoffs at ordinary means of travel and invites the child to try oozing, popping out of a cannon, riding an elephant Sultan-style, swinging from a tree Tarzan-style, trying the cable car route, and many other extraordinary and exotic ways of getting from his house across the street to his friend's. Mr. Weiss is a realist too, for he warns us of the dangers and impediments we are likely to encounter and imparts sound information about unusual methods of transportation, not uncommon, at one time or another. In the end, he advises the more plausible, if mundane, hat-on-head walk across the street method. A really funny blend of fact and fantasy which sees a little male hero engaged in all these fascinating exploits via his gay, spirited pictures.
