KIRKUS REVIEW

A closet bursting with hats is the prized property of one imaginative little boy who dons one for each fantasy. There is a hat for Indian powows, a tarboosh with a tassel, a knight's helmet, a French beret, a curly judge's wig and a variety of chapeaux for countless safaris. Each one is viewed in proper context as it transports the little hero to its particular mood and setting. Colorful illustrations add to the comedy and directions for hat making are a constructuve note. Good fun.
