KIRKUS REVIEW

It's enough already with too much"" is the interlinear indication throughout this short handbook for this occasion in which there has been a lapse in both taste and dignity toward ""too much Bar and too little Mitzvah."" Mrs. Eisenberg will show you how the Bar Mitzvah can be observed at home, or in the Temple, or in a community center; suggests the food to be served; whom to invite; the clothes to wear; the handling of invitations, gifts (for the Rabbi, cantor, etc.) and she includes a table of costs as well as scheduling. Purely social instruction here, but very helpful and the only one of its kind, we know of, except for a paperback.
