UNCLE SAM'S NAVY

Official U. S. Navy photographs with accompanying text make this an authentic presentation of the different types of ships which make up our navy. Battleships crusiers, destroyers, aircraft carriers and submarines, with their sub-divisions; then a section on supplementary ships, on navy yards and on the Naval Academy round out the whole. The photographs show not only the vessels themselves, but certain characteristic scenes of activity and personnel. The text might be a bit more definitive, more detailed in answering the queries that are inevitable when a boy wants to know how to distinguish one class from another. But good merchandise; timely.
