KIRKUS REVIEW

Excellent guidebook, full of suggestions for flower and garden clubs, woman's clubs that have flower shows, etc. beside the housewife with an interest in this hobby. Chapters on design, holders, containers, accessories, floral materials, color, that give basic instructions and original ideas. There are further sections on flower shows, judging flower arrangements, taking pictures, and evaluation of the dividends from this sport. Emphasis on arrangements not costly or rare, and their importance in home decoration.
