THE WRONG MAN

Josiah Clunk smelling out trouble to help an American Colonel who is investigating the home front situation of an English pal whom he believes dead. Four murders, looted art treasures, the blitz as a cover for activities give Clunk, and his right (and left) hands plenty of tangential snooping with Clunk's brand of justice well dispensed. Clunk's babbling of the fitting Biblical quotations is small drawback to an accomplished ex post facto expose.
