KIRKUS REVIEW

An English chiller-thriller built on the lines of the woolliest of our horse operas. This one has to do with the successful efforts of an English master-mind, Colonel Masterman, his friend, Mr. Munro, an archeologist, and Munro's two wily off-spring to put down an Arab uprising against Arab coves friendly to the British Isles. A trip to the desert, abductions, disguises, escapes, rescues and finally the destruction of the rebel leader's forces in the mysterious city of El Kebbir, in which the children disguised as Arabs and Colonel Mastermind (believed dead in England) take the lead, pace the story. A pulp impossible but a good show.
