THE HUSSEY'S HANDBOOK

Pub Date: Oct. 18th, 1937

Slangy, hard-boiled, but really quite entertaining, and not vulgar, though she skirts the edges. Many of the chapters appeared as articles in Esquire and Town and Country and all deal with relations between ladies and gentlemen and those not so much so. ""Latins are Lousy Lovers"" has been much discussed. Some of the others are called ""A Beedecker to the Boys"", ""Men and what to do with them"", ""Why I hate parties"". Then she deals summarily with love letters, tells how to handle drunks, and so on.
