Suggests Effie Powers' Bag O'Tales in the progression of material from standard fairy tales for the youngest listeners to here material, legends and extracts from the classics for the elder ones. Not as inclusive nor as scholarly a job, but for the library that cannot afford the other book, this is an excellent collection.
