Twenty eight years ago this collection -- or at any rate the main part of it -- was published. Today, with the need for such a collection still there, it is reissued, with retention of those poems which have a permanent place in any such collection, and forty new poems, both English and American, which demanded inclusion. The break down is into Story Poems and And the Index cross-files the material under author, title and first line. It was a good piece of editing in 1923 and stands admirably the acid test of time.
