YOU CAN'T TELL ABOUT LOVE

Susan Day, after attending the South Shore Beauty Institute, finds that she is in a profession demanding tact, enthusiasm and a sense of style as well as technical skill. There are new schemes to try in a small beauty shop where she works with a friend and many difficulties to overcome in meeting the conflicting demands of romance and business. However, her poise and kindness win for her both the boy friend and success. This is valuable as a career book with details of the beauty business, but the story is sentimental and cliche-laden.
