KIRKUS REVIEW

A book for the limited market of those who like rather esoteric flavor to their literature. One might almost say this was a fictionized segment of The Golden Bough, , through a series of ""love stories"" the development of the relationship between man and woman. Folk lore, religion, cults, ceremonies, mythology, sex rites, somewhat morbid obsession with the erotic. Prehistoric Crete -- Greece about 1400 B.C. the days of rphism in Greece, 600 B.C. -- Asia Minor, 300 A.D. Can't see this for general sale.
