KIRKUS REVIEW

More Jokes Jokes Jokes, probably no more or less funny than the usual reshuffled deck of oldies, and illustrated with the usual shorthand-pop aggressiveness. Hoke tosses in some ""mock meanings"" (Pasteurize: up to your forehead; Horsefly: a fly with laryngitis), a limerick, a few cartoons, some nursery rhymes. . . . Many (most jarringly those about jitterbugs or beaux) are older than those Catskill Mountains (""No, but I've seen them kill mice"") and others as dead as the Czar and Czarina and all the little Czardines who are dredged up toward the end.
