KIRKUS REVIEW

Got the frizzles? A receding hairline? Unwanted facial hair? Zizmor and Foreman, who collaborated on Super Skin and Dr. Zizmor's Skin Care Book, now hunch this third effort (with a third publisher, incidentally) that brushes over the basics of hair care. There are facts on follices, advice on regular shampooing and restrained use of blow-dryers, and endorsements of many, many commercial products-not a warning in the lot. Coloring, waving, straightening, transplants, and various kinds of hair removal are also approved, ways of treating dandruff and psoriasis are suggested, and a separate chapter considers the special problems blacks face. Not much luster but relatively easy to manage.
