DANGEROUS ISLAND

A mystery concocted of unlikely events comes to its equally unlikely conclusion as three children find ten twenty-five pound bars of gold bullion on a rocky island off Atlantic City. Frank and Dorothy, who have come with their mother to Brigantine Island for the summer, soom meet Pug, a boy their age, who tells them the legend of a disappearing island near Brigantine. Out fishing, the kids are marooned on it and spend several successful if fearful days there until the gold is discovered and a helicopter rescues them. Unrealistic wishful thinking.
