Jim Andrus, sentenced briefly for the vehicular homicide of the son of the woman he is to marry, comes out of jail to face further suspicion when he is implicated in murder this time, and found at the scene of still another crime. Determined to prove his innocence, it is Susan, the step-sister of Regina whom he had once loved, who helps him to escape, while McKee and Todhunter are effacing and effective in their solution of a complex of emotional and material motives. Glamour contours here, along with a few sharp angles.
