IF I HAD ALL THE MONEY IN THE WORLD

This has some value from the recognition angle, for there are all sorts of more or less familiar objects for the three and four year old to pick out from the pages. The story tells of a small boy who amused himself on a rainy day by deciding what he would buy if ""he had all the money in the world,"" not only for himself, but for all the members of his family -- and the doctor, who doesn't seem very popular. One senses a very human- but not very laudable- element of ""getting back at them"" in his selections.
