KIRKUS REVIEW

Another story about Gally and Golly and Kaptain Kid, who visit the zoo this time, and have all sorts of adventures. Children who like kittens will probably find this entrancing, for the photographs are charming and the kittens are real personalities. As for myself -- I frankly don't like the stories where animals talk, and this story seems to me too long drawn out for the age for which it is intended. Set in the upper bracket of this age group -- 8 and 9, rather than 6 and 7. Sell as an animal story, for the contacts with the zoo animals widen the kittens' horizons.
