LAST LOVER

The trepidations and tribulations of the McFarlanes, -- Julia, the mother, deserted by her husband in the last war, but building a heroic figure for their children; Bio, the son, who presages the weakness of his father, and Jill, the girl, who falls in love with a flying Lieutenant but thinks he does not love her. Troubles come when the father reappears, still in the Army but under another name, and Ric, Jr. takes up with a chemical blonde.
