KIRKUS REVIEW

Poetry, Good Housekeeping, Ladies' Home Journal extraction --written straight from the heart. An earlier volume, Singing Drums showed her human quality; this is broader in range. It deals with the everyday things of life -- homes, children, holidays, gardens, love and loss of love. There is nothing particularly striking or distinctive -- but many people want this sort of homely, womanly verse today.
