NANCY GOES TO COLLEGE

Sequel to Nancy Keeps House- and again a honey. Nancy is a Freshman at what is presumably a mid-western university- and with her piquant room-mate, Kate, gives mature, modern consideration to all the characteristic problems of the first year at college. Particularly well handled are three major issues, -- the question of joining a sorority, a very unusual handling of what might have been an unfortunate love affair, and problems of racial prejudice. A good yarn, with sound values; never didactic, seldom banal, even when dealing with well-worn material, and told with a zest for those wonderful Freshman ""firsts"". Middle and upper teens.
