FRICTION ALL AROUND

Here in a text for the very young reader with delightful illustrations by Bernice Myers, is a straight-forward introduction to electricity, and physics. Friction, as a positive or negative force is vital in the understanding of almost every field of physical endeavor. Animated pictures and a friendly text which takes its examples from familiar situations, renders this an unusually good introduction to a subject generally confined to older readers. The child introduced to science through this medium may be expected to have an easier time with it when he again meets it on a more advanced academic level.
