KIRKUS REVIEW

A lame Indian lad shares in the preparations for the coming of the Rajah, and in the story one learns much of the crafts and arts of these ancient people. Adventures bring out an innate shrewness and initiative in the lad, and he wins the recognition of the ruler, who gives him the chance to go to the city for an operation which makes him like other boys.
