THE WALKING TRIP

Maddy, a naive nineteen, comes to London to meet her brother Richard, on his way back from Rhodesia. They're supposed to go on a walking trip which soon becomes a chase since Richard has disappeared and everyone is interested in the key to his ""deedbox."" There's the wife he's divorcing called Clods (it's probably wise to get rid of anyone called Clods) and Richard's friend, Aidan Ross, who falls in love with her, an African Nabuku, and the very elegant Claverton who seems to be at the top or rather the bottom of all this. It's not very good, even of and for her kind.
