A FIESTA OF FOLK SONGS FROM SPAIN AND LATIN AMERICA

A considerable collection of simple songs for singing, clapping, dancing--each with an introduction, with the original Spanish lyrics and phonetic spelling and English translation: with the melodic line and guitar chords also. The songs fall into four groups: about animals and nature, singing games and dances (instructions included), about people, for Christmas. It's a relaxed way to acquire some sense of another culture and an Opportunity for informal group fun. A few surprises--see Mambru Went to War for an echo of The Bear Went Over the Mountain, and all in an attractive format.
