KIRKUS REVIEW

Good photographs and good factual material, including more or less ordinary ""birds, bugs and beasts"". But the book as a whole suffers from too close adherence to the alphabet idea, which forces inclusion of some things and exclusion of others, so that the whole seems unmotivated. Sell as nature book -- not as A.B.C.
