TRISTRAM BENT

Lots of frontier and Indian stuff, with plenty of adventure, humorous and otherwise. Smooth reading historical-adventure-romance, and clean as a hound's tooth. Story of a young Englishman, Roundhead, sent by Cromwell to spy out the Dutch organization in the New World. His adventures prove his prowess and resource-fulness; he unearths the evils of the patroon system, he befriends some English in the colony, he builds a program for colonization, and he wins his mate. So-so.
