This is a primer of the law for Mr. Average Citizen. There have been others, but none that are so usable as this for quick reference (though one might wish for a fuller cross index). Recommend as a handbook to chart the road; it covers very briefly, almost categorically, a wide range of subjects that come under the law, such as purchase or rent of a house, mortgages, investments, borrowing money, installment buying, wills, contracts, insurance, etc. Not as entertaining reading or as stimulating as such books as Woe Unto You, Lawyers, or Look at the Law; not as human as You Be the Judge. But more practical for constant pick-up reference than these.
