DEATH ON THE SIXTH DAY

Karen Howard, heading from the East to the West Coast with her child, takes as a passenger, to share the driving, the sister of a man next door, and later learns that Winnis White is wanted by the police for a jewel theft and murder, and by a mob for her hit and run act. In the day by day, and up all night, cross country chase, Karen learns that her passenger is as determined and dangerous as her pursuers, and proves to have an unsuspected courage herself. More believable than last year's.... Baby Jane and a real skin prickler.
