I'LL TAKE CAPPY

Fairly predictable finale for a non-routine story about a boy who likes hunting and his pony, in the Maryland Hunt region. Sam -- along with the reader- learns a good deal about caring for a horse, training, jumping, and the organization of the hunt. But the grave problem is that Sam's father needs a tractor more than Sam needs a pony. What to do? Can the combine earn their own way? Good everyday experiences in earning money in a rural community, with a lucky old coin as a fortunate coincidence. Sam rides along with the best of them at the hunt, does a few deeds of valor, and finally has the money for his father's tractor (and the pony is his to keep). A predictable market.
