KIRKUS REVIEW

The third story about Andy Marvin and his adventures in the Wyoming Rockies (Mountain Pony and Mountain Pony and The Pinto Colt are its predecessors). Here Andy and his horse, Sunny, are involved in a search for Brownie, an innocent looking horse of Andy's, who turns out to be a terrific bucking bronco. After a framed up jail term, Andy catches up with the tough hombre who annexed the brono at the Rodeo in Madison Square Garden. Sally, Andy's pal, has some exciting times too and readers who have followed Andy's career will be glad to find that he has become so well-versed in Western ways that he is now acting as a guide and that his prowess at the Garden proves his proficiency in cowboy ways. Most satisfactory for those who have like this series from the start.
