KIRKUS REVIEW

Reynold Frame, of The Wilders Walk Away, The Darker The Night and Hardly A Man Is Now Alive, finds an island off the Maine coast where hush hush research for bacteriological warfare is hidden away to be alive with trouble. Unknown cultures are released with the killing of the boss man, for fear of contamination there is no food, little water. A disappearance and a near murder makes Frame point the finger.
