Another book which will prove fascinating to anyone interested in old houses, in interior treatment of panelling and woodwork, in doorways and fences and so forth. This book is written by an architect, and bears the earmarks. It is perhaps too definitely an architect's book for the neophyte, but any amateur can learn a great deal about Vermont history and the development of colonial architecture by studying the text and examining the delightful photographs.
