COMBAT AT MIDNIGHT

Rugged sermons in verse, modern, mystical, practical; Oxford Group theme songs, sung to the refrain of ""Where man listens, God guides."" Where the standards of honesty, purity, unselfishness and love are broken by individuals or nations, strife, pain and death ensue until restitution brings Resurrection and Rebirth. Varied and well done. The subjects show a knowledge of social ills and human need, unhappy homes large and small, in wealth and want, garage men changed by a stranger in a station wagon. A book the younger generation will understand. It speaks their language even though it shocks the prudes.
