A criticism of fascism from the conservative side, and a warning for that side, by one who, once caught in the trap of National Socialism, now denounces Nazism from the point of view of methods of obtaining objectives. He sees the doom of Hitler's Reich through its philosophy of destruction and moral annhiliation since fascism is a negative force, leading to anarchy and chaos by destroying the morality and integrity of a great nation. The author agrees with Hitler that the Treaty of Versailles was an unconscionable straightjacket, necessarily to be overridden that Germany might have a leading role in European affairs. The occupation of Prague, Hitler's greatest physical victory, strikes him as the greatest moral defeat since it set the world against the Fuhrer. The translation is occasionally inconsistent in its use of terms, but with the author's former presidency of the Danzig Senate, and the state of world affairs this will have current news value.
