THE BIGGER GIANT: An Irish Legend

The colorful legend of Finn McCool and Cucullan is told in direct and simple language. However, it seems faded and weak, owing mainly to the work of the artist. In the pictures, Cucullan and Finn are void of individuality, and stand, rather, as large, blocked off flat masses. The misted Irish countryside is visualized as little more than plain, unshaded green mounds.
