KIRKUS REVIEW

A Connecticut payroll is handled with precision as first the details of the planning and then the details of the man hunt are blueprinted. Ragan, a big time heister, collects a trained crew for his well plotted stick up but the unexpected throws his routine off. Chief Fellows is able to take advantage of the slip ups (but not to avert murders or kidnapings) to organize his police and make his capture. The commonplace ticked off with the split second timing, this is believable.
