Another Bantry Bay story, this time about Pegeen the orphan who comes to stay with Francie and his family. Pegeen's generous impulses are quicker than her brain so that in spite of the best intentions and earnest resolves to do better, she is always in mischief. An engaging book, as lively and human and real as the earlier books about the children of Bantry Bay.
