KIRKUS REVIEW

Poet-professor to be Stan Moore currently operates a real estate business in Nice, is hired by actor-producer Walker to negotiate a sale of property in Grasse and finds himself marrying Tira Mitrova, a Yugoslovia patriot. Her death, his marriage to his love, American Rowena, land him in an international affair in which he has a part in destroying the sabotaging of underground activities. The Carnival in Nice is a colorful, dangerous climax to his adventures. Bright paced excitement.
