KIRKUS REVIEW

A model Assistant Superintendent and his pretty wife, a teacher, are given a deadly catnip...strychnine in milk. The man, Roger Chapman, dubbed ""a perfect gentleman"" by his confederates, dies and Police Chief Fred C. Fellows finds a postmortem telegram-- ""Ding, dong the witch is dead, the wicked witch is dead."" Which witch? turns into who's who? as Fellows' trail tracking shows that Chapman did indeed do a lot of playing after school. The mystery student will find this an easy reader.
