The death of a partner of American financier Whitby, in Zurich, sparks off dirty dealing in New York City when Whitby's daughter is kidnaped and held prisoner in the Russian consulate. Her fiance, Osborne, in trying to rescue her, puts her father in danger and, captured in turn, is saved by Whitby's most hardshelled client whose sharpshooting rings the bell for a red roundup.
