KIRKUS REVIEW

Simply told story of the daily round in the life of a small Navajo boy, with the details of his games and his work, of the things he eats and the clothes he wears, of his family and friends, which will make him real to small children. Nine full page color pictures and eleven full page line drawings, in addition to scattered drawings through the text, make this virtually a picture book. The illustrations were made by a 15-year old Navajo boy. A book for the upper edge of the picture-story-book age, and for children who are just beginning to read to themselves. Good fact material, well done in story form.
