THREE CITIES

The runaway sale of Nar And Prace has stimulated interest for this, perhaps its nearest modern counterpart. Three Cities is an epic novel against a Russian background, with the revolution as its motivating force. The regular $3.00 edition is to continue after the 25,000 edition at $1.89 is exhausted. The book was originally published in October 1934, and gave Sholem Ach his enviable position in modern letters. Since the tremendous popularity of The Nazarene, interest in his earlier work has revived, now intensified by concentration on numerous things Russian.
