THE SLEEPER

Robert Kendall, free lance, is threatened because of his series of articles on Lt. Francis Burton Hollister, sentenced for treason. The FBI and the CIC move in to see what clue Holllster has left within the manuscript since his suicide must have been a message to his Party; Kendall works through Marta Wentwirth, whom Hollister had implicated, and stands up under the time and physical push needed to clear her and prove Hollister's definite guilt. Ingenious build-up to rough photo-finish.
