To be liked by Glory Hoffman seemed the most important thing in Anne Fraser's world. Glory, the epitome of glamour, allowed Anne to reflect her glory for a brief time. Tom Magoon, editor of The Blue Pencil oegan to pay attention to Anne at the Sophomore Dance. Anne sees beneath Glory's facade when funds belonging to the school paper disappear and she realizes that a pretty dress was motivation for theft to Glory. A sound presentation of the hero-worshiping teens, with a sotto voce reminder that all that glitters, etc.
