YOUR CAREER IN AGRICULTURE

A first rate addition to vocational shelves, limited only in view of the fact that the interest may be somewhat sectional (rural and small town) while city boys will not realize that actually their interests may also lie along these lines. Virtually every phase of modern agriculture is touched upon, with enough information given to provide interesting reading for those who want to know the new fields that are opening up, and enough practical data included to serve as a springboard for the boy who is concerned (1) in the ultimate objectives and possibilities, (2) in the necessary steps to attain these ends, the training and background, etc. Good book for 4-H group reading, for public libraries and school libraries in rural and semi-rural communities. Although the focus is entirely on boys, there is no reason why girls would not be interested in the sections connected with flower, vegetable and fruit growing, with dairy farming and poultry raising.
