THE WILD COLT: The Life of a Young Mustang

An annotated photo album showing something of the habits and social structure of America's Last Wild Horses, as revealed in the everyday adventures of one young colt. Ms. Ryden photographed a wild Wyoming band consisting of a stallion, eleven mares, and their offspring; her text and pictures offer a judicious selection of unobtrusive information along with a sense of the ""fun"" and freedom of the horses' existence. Agreeable if supplementary.
