KIRKUS REVIEW

Good adventure yarn with a mystery which is more interesting in its development than in its solution. A youth determined to get a berth on a ship, buys a job card and release papers on the water front, and finds himself involved in a deep laid plot, which is virtually sabotage of the entire shipping line of which his ship is a part. He determines to solve the mystery and plays an important and exciting part in the unravelling. The scene of action is in dock and on shore -- not at sea.
