Love, love at the end, much mush from the start. The stork delivers, by mistake, a dragon to the Bronx (they haven't heard The Stork Is Dead); jolly green Stanley grows up relatively untraumatized (not even an embarrassing shower room incident at school), graduates from City College, and resists paternal directions to the garment industry. He wants to be Some One, find a princess and settle down. Eventually (the automat), he finds Joyce, a junior high art teacher who wants ""to understand anyone who wants to be Someone Special."" They marry, the stork brings Jennifer (girl) and Sheldon (dragon), and Stanley realizes ""To be loved is indeed to be Someone Special. If a dragon from The Bronx can make it. . . you can, too.
